Pharmacological effects: Pain reliever and disinfectant.
As a pain reliever and for inhibition of mouth infection:
Puncture the tip of the tube using the needle, moisten a suitable amount of cotton with Dentol and insert it in decayed dental cavity. The pain would be reduced in a minute and the infection and inflammation would be reduced about an hour later. For MFU refer to a dentist as soon as possible.
Treatment of aphthous stomatitis:
Dissolve 2 drops of the Dentol in half a cup of warm boiled water (Dentol solution) and gargle it. The pain shall be relieved immediately, and inflammation of blisters would be reduced subsequently. To complete the treatment of aphthous, wash your mouth with Dentol solution every 8 hours.
For reduction of denture stomatitis:
In order to reduce denture pain and inflammation, use one drop of Dentol on the toothpaste and wash the denture. As an anti-inflammation agent in gingivitis, gargle the solution twice daily.
Prevention and treatment of cold and flu:
For children under 7 years, use only one drop of Dentol in half a cup of warm boiled water and for adults use 2 drops of it and then gargle it once every 2–4 hours.
